Today is the 13th day of Lanie’s fight against leukemia. I will have to explain some things from the beginning to limit confusion as to where we are and what Lanie has already gone through to be where she is now. You can read the initial post about Lanie here: Lanie’s Fight!!
I will be updating all about Lanie’s fight against this very rare form of leukemia (MLL). This has been a large, emotional roller coaster as we support her through this fight. She is not backing down either. All her labs look good as of today, and she’s on her 7th day of chemo, finishing up the 7+3 chemo regimen. She’s been bleeding since before she went to the ER on September 3rd, 2018. Tomorrow they will probably give her something to stop her bleeding, and hopefully, she will be able to remove her heparin IV (Thank God). I will write more about everything tomorrow as I build this blog for her and for those who care to support her on her journey.
